Marine Parade

This two storied Herne Bay villa underwent a full internal and external renovation. The rear was opened up to receive a modernised extension with covered outdoor area and fireplace. This lead on to a pool with slotted rear wall for it's cover.​​​​

Dorset Street

This brick bungalow needed to be extended and modernised to meet the needs of it's family. The rear of the house was opened up to allow a rear extension to meet into existing. A lower level kitchen and family areas with master suite above. Full height timber joinery and a canter levered upper level were stand out features of this project.​​​​

Baildon Road

This Original Grey Lynn villa underwent an extensive renovation. A full length basement development to create garage and living areas added significant floor area. Architectural decks and extension to the rear blended with original front core of the villa. The in situ concrete wall carries through from basement to apex of extension.

Westmere Park Avenue

This original waterfront property was lacking flow and not appreciating its site. The house was stripped and renovated from top to bottom with a new layout. New extensions on both side and dormer windows to the upper level giving the house a sharp modern look.
A new suspended pool and decks towards the water create an amazing leveled area.

Tahapa Cresent

Originally a fibro clad state house. Previous owners had extended the rear living area. Carpintero undertook a two level front extension with double garage below. The original footprint was completely renovated adding some great street appeal.

Newell Street

This Pt Chev bungalow had a small original footprint and the owners needed more room. Back in 2008 Carpintero undertook phase one of the renovations. This involved extending out from the back to create new living areas. Thereby gaining an extra bedroom from within the existing house. At the beginning of 2012 Carpintero were called back for phase two. A front extension consisting of double garage below and master bed,ensuite, walk in wardrobe above. Both extensions were tied in well with the existing house to create a good sized family home. The clients also had the benefit of being able to continue living in the house throughout the project.

Peary Road

This bungalow was in a fairly original condition, with a bad layout. A laundry toilet was moved from the middle of the house to a new front double garage with internal access. This enabled a hallway to be reinststed from front door through back of house. A new bathroom was created off hallway. The house was fully renovated back to end of hallway. The clients will proceed with a second stage rear extension at a later date.

Seacliffe Road

This family needed more room for their teenagers. The double garage offered an opportunity to build up and into the existing second level. Two bedrooms and a lounge with kitchenette were created over existing garage. The existing downstairs bathroom was renovated and a small downstairs porch closed in to give enough room for a large laundry. A further bathroom was created between the two second levels.

Jerram Street

This original bungalow was modernised to suit the needs of its owners. A rear lean to was demolished while still utilising the floor. A small extension to floor area created a large open plan kitchen, lounge, dining. The new bathroom was relocated into an existing front room to complete this total renovation.

Shortt Avenue

This cute 1940s brick cottage had become to small for its owner. It needed to be extended cost effectively without loosing character. The front lounge size was increased by pushing out within the a wide original eaves line. A rear extension of master bedroom and ensuite freed up an existing room for the main bathroom.

Rarawa Street

This substantial 1940s tudor styled house had a tired bathroom and kitchen.The original bathroom spaces were enlarged by extending the existing dormer window. An ensuite was able to be slotted into the corner of master bedroom. A new kitchen and dining area opening out onto a large new deck creating better flow to the rear section.

Seacliffe Avenue

This iconic 1950s designed house was ready for a full makeover. Extensive renovations required this dwelling to be stripped right back. Floors were opened up to install new foundations for a future second level. Internal layout was altered incorporating all bracing to build up. The owners are now in a position where they can remain in the house should they choose to complete the second stage.
